Genpop is a services framework designed to assist individuals in developing their career through a set of free online services. The results of this effort will help bridge the gap between companies searching for resources and individuals looking for adequate jobs. These online applications or services will also aid in the preparation of an individual's career path even if he or she is not currently searching for a job. Our commitment is to improve our services as we receive feedback from our users.

Anyone can join Genpop

All that's required to join Genpop is a valid email address. To start using our services, use your school or work email address to register. Once you register, the first step is filling your basic profile. Since most of our services are data driven, you won't reap the benefits until you fill at least your Basic Profile. Remember the more data you put in the more services you'll be able to use.

Create your Resume

Genpop has developed another free online service that aids individual in creating a professional resume in a variety of formats and extensions. Individuals will be able to improve their resumes by including relevant information required by recruiters. Also, we will save your profile so you can come back anytime, update current data and generate your resume, with just a few clicks.

Create your Biography

Genpop has published a free service which generates your Bio (biography), based on your profile, in different formats and levels of detail. Bios are often used or required by companies when introducing a speaker at events, or when general profile information is required to companies interested in an individual's background.

Manage your profile

At Genpop, we believe that people should have control over their information. Since we save all your profile information, and you might be interested in sharing it with people, we let you decide who will be able to view your information. In the near future we will be adding services by which employers, seeking to fill positions at companies, will be able to indentify registered users, which meet certain criteria and requirements. Initially, we will not share any of the user's information to them. Instead, they will be able to request 'viewing permission' directly to those users. Users will then decide if they want to share or not their information on a case by case basis. That way your information is secure.

About the company

Genpop (short for General Population) is a Puerto Rico based company which was founded with the purpose of providing the general population with a set of services to improve the economic situation, by aiding in placing the "right people in the right job". We plan to expand our services outside of the US territories once we feel we have met the needs of our user.
